Terms and Conditions for SMS Messaging

Sound Animal Wellness (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides SMS messaging services to facilitate communication with our clients. By opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Consent to Receive SMS Messages

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Sound Animal Wellness, which may include appointment reminders, health updates for your pets, and other relevant communications. You understand that message and data rates may apply as determined by your mobile carrier.

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary. You will typically receive SMS messages related to your pet’s care, including appointment confirmations and follow-ups.

3. Opting Out

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any SMS message you receive from us. Once you opt out, you will no longer receive SMS messages, but we may contact you through other means, such as email or phone, if necessary.

4. Help and Support

5. Cost

We do not charge for SMS messages; however, message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Please consult your mobile carrier for details on fees associated with receiving SMS messages.

6. Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal information, including your mobile number, will only be used for the purposes outlined in these terms and our [Privacy Policy]. For more details, please review our full Privacy Policy.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our SMS messaging service for any unlawful or abusive purpose. Misuse of this service may result in termination of your ability to receive messages from us.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for any delays or failures in receiving SMS messages due to transmission errors or issues with your mobile carrier. This service is provided "as-is" and may be terminated at any time without notice.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated terms on our website or notifying you through other means.

SMS Privacy Policy

Sound Animal Wellness only uses your phone number or other personal information in order to communicate with you about your pet, appointments or other general questions/information regarding our veterinary-client-patient relationship. 

Collection of Phone Numbers: We collect your name and phone number only when you voluntarily provide them to us.  For example: in person, via email, contact us form, new patient form or by calling or texting our office number. You can opt-in to receive texts by clicking on the box on the contact us form, texting us or verbally letting us know. 

Data Sharing Policy: We will only share your information with our SMS provider, subject to their privacy policy.  We use GoTo connect to send SMS messages to any of our clients that have opted-in.  Consumer information is not shared with third-parties for marketing purposes. 

Opting-out of text messages: If you would like to opt-out of SMS messaging then you can text STOP to our phone number.  Please allow 10 business days for that to take effect.
